![]() This weapon is most commonly paired with a shield for best results, although players have found a great amount of success even two-handing the weapon against heftier opponents.Īdd to it the fact that this weapon has an above-average critical rate modifier and you have yourselves one of the best weapons in Dark Souls 3. The Lothric Knight Sword is also a speedy weapon with powerful thrusts that makes it just as great against a variety of opponents as it is in PvP. Skill: Stance While in stance, use normal attacks to break a foe's guard from below, and strong attack to slash upwards with a forward lunge. This highly versatile weapon can be swung broadly or thrusted. This weapon is also highly flexible around build type, it can work for Sharp, Refined, and even Blessed infusions to work around a variety of builds. An unusually large and heavy greatsword normally wielded with two hands. While the drop is pretty uncommon, it can be found fairly easily if you choose to farm the Knights around bonfires close by. This weapon drops from the Lothric Knights found at a variety of locations around the map. While all of the other popular weapons got nerfed along the way, the Lothric Knight Sword has been a reliable pick and it is fairly easy to acquire early in the game. This weapon has been a standard, stable pick since the early days of Dark Souls 3. If you want a tournament ready setup, go Dark with Claymore and the Lothric Knight SS. There is no such thing as a "true combo", just a true idiot fabricating lies on a wiki for one of the most well established and open communities in gaming to ever exist. The No. Claymore functions best either on a dedicated physical build (66 Strength/16 Strength + 80 Dex/40-40 Split evenly), a buff build (40 Strength + 60 Faith), or a Dark build (base requirements + 30-30 Intelligence and Faith). And true combo lmfao I just can't get over that totally made up phrase, like what the hell would that even pertain to, how is a thrust and slash not a "true combo" but a slash and thrust is? That makes no sense, so just an fyi for anyone trying to make edits to these pages, stop trying to completely make up vocabulary that hasn't ever existed among fans as if it means anything. Claymore with heavy infusion is pretty good for full strength. I don’t have too much experience with int/faith but that’s my experience. It's like how some people say "liquid humanity" like lmao it's always been called "soft" humanity, in over a decade I've never heard someone actually call it that. Dark claymore is completely viable, but is best used around a pyro build with 30/30 (soft cap I believe) and would have to pump attunemnt a little higher and lower vitality. Nobody has ever used much less popularized the vernacular "true combo" in any Fromsoft games, stop making things up for no reason. Lmao wtf is "true combo" supposed to mean? That's literally nonsense, any combination of attacks is a COMBO. ![]()
